Avengers: Age of Ultron took a lot of liberties with the origin of its title character, but it maintained his status as the creator of Vision. That’s why it’s fitting that Marvel’s upcoming Vision series on Disney+ will feature the first official return of Ultron in almost a decade. And James Spader will once again provide Ultron’s voice.

The Hollywood Reporter broke the story about Spader’s return as Ultron. In the MCU’s continuity, Ultron was created by Tony Stark, and he rebelled against his creator by trying to eradicate humanity.
